I also alluded to the fact that making street art is easy, hence dissing EVERY street artist with one under-handed remark.

ReplyDeleteThe person who got 'offended' in all of this had actually announced on .info the day before that they were going to be taking a break from the forum, but nobody seemed to notice or care...presumably because they'd heard it all before. This obviously didn't elicit the amount of pleas for them to stay that they felt they deserved, so cue a big prompted fanfare announcement of grief and disgust the next day from Sickly, long after the 'offending' comment had already been deleted, to ensure maximum sympathy and victimhood was achieved.

The name of the 'winner' was read out to the assembled throng with great patronising pomp, and no one was there to pick up the cheque.....and no-one made any effort whatsoever to pick up said fat cheque after the ceremony, leaving one very embarrased person holding said fat cheque that he really didn't want to be holding at all. Seems these guys just looooove an awards ceremony.

I'm quite glad I don't know what letters come before .info so I never have to go to a place which, if I understand correctly, is about selling each other urban artworks. If you buy something, and then sell it, it's like saying "this is shit, I don't want it". So why would anyone buy it? Why did you buy it in the first place?
I didn't realise there was a massive community of urban art fans ripping each other off and talking about how much they love doing it on line. How weird! Do you really buy something so that you can then talk about how great it is so you can sell it? That just doesn't make any sense to me. It's the activity of someone with no soul.
I once heard that there is two types of music - music with soul and music without. It's the same with art. You can see and feel it. Art isn't some commodity for you to grow rich from. Which means the crap you're all selling each other isn't art.
