Nick Walker La Corancan Print Release
So 'that' image will be the print release for the new Nick Walker show, with the release split between Art Sensus and Helium Foundation (has Nick been poached by the Russians?). Idea wise, well when originally placed in Paris it had a point, which oddly enough is lost once it's on a piece of paper. 'Well Tarquin the reason I bought this politically thrusting piece is because the French have banned the full face veil', 'oh okay then....right on' . But, this isn't the biggest problem with this, call me old fashioned but I like an image that 'works' is it my wonky brain - or does this image lack quality, composition and look just plain lop sided and odd?
Hey, on a positive note it's got a meaning and it's not another fucking TMA image.

Anybody who buys this print needs severe mental help.

ReplyDeleteThe image has a slightly clever political message when placed in the streets of France, yes, but as an art work it's dog awful. It's complete mud, you can barely see what's going on. The composition is terrible, and it's basically another example of a lazy stencil artist finding an image to turn into a stencil. Learn to fucking draw you fucking useless, badly dressed knob!
Yet again another steaming slash in the eye by a talentless hack.
ReplyDeleteYou always hear some cretin spout with every new release that it's ok but not as good as TMA.
TMA was just a bunch of skylines with paint drips on them and one of the weakest bits of artwork I've ever had the misfortune to see.
It's akin to something water damaged that was dragged out the bins round the back of a derelict Athena only to be flogged on a stall outside poundland.
It was even sub par compaired to most MBW and definately of the same ilk.
Only morons and chancers would fork out large amounts of cash for the fetid dregs scavenged off Warhol's bloated corpse of a legacy.
The worst piece of art I've seen in a long time, and there's plenty competition.
ReplyDeleteThe £57K Moona Lisa auction at Bonhams in 2008 was def fake and a whole load of morons went to to buy his shit at inflated prices. Good for them they got rinsed for their ducats, stupid mugs. Anyone with any taste could see a mile off that they were going to be taken to the cleaners!
