protesting done nicely nicely for the kids? Lost as to the statement this makes, other than the obvious, which in this case isn't enough.(But acts as Banksy's mention in the press for another month). The positive though, maybe a few more fuckwits will bother to lift their heads from their arseholes and actually wonder what's going on in the world? Who's next to get some publicity?
Nothing to see here except another cheap opportunistic advert for a cunt who runs a business exploiting protest culture.
ReplyDeleteThis cliche is tired, its been used before by countless artists, the point it makes is wrong too, the banker is made into an object of pity, essentially propaganda for the capitlists, when theyre all rolling in it while the 99% starve, It's clearly manufactured by his art factory....utter dross
ReplyDeleteWhat this piece is really saying is let's all feel sorry for the bankers and give them more money so that they can buy expensive Banksy artworks.
ReplyDeleteoh, the poor rich man
ReplyDeletewhat a stupidly backwards piece of art. one wonders if now that Banksy is one of the rich he used to hate, whether he is torn between his bank account and trying to still push the idea he's still some kind of rebel so that he can sell stuff. Seems this world of confusion seriously effects his art.
still, looks like a nice spot for some breakdancing!
It says TOX. That obviously is not a Banksy piece. And since when was art all of a sudden called oppurtunistic when they used art to reflect on anything. It has been around for ages before Banksy, Tox, Retna anyone. Though it's oxy moron that Banksy and other street artists actually create anarchist art statements that the rich have taken a liking to. It is not the street artist with a statement that should now draw back because people appreciate the art. If anything creative anarchists catch more peoples attention and actually get people more interested in things going on in the world which they should be. It fascinates me the criticism that goes on and on about people that actually TRY to make a little difference.. TRY to raise a little awareness to a a reality tv hypnotized planet gets shit for not keeping to themselves. Whens the last time any of us put in as much effort into letting people know what we strongly disagreed about? Oh yeah behind a computer, typing ever so hard and fast on that helpless keyboard. Oooweee so cool. Gimme a break. Be thankful we still have art, and that it isnt suppressed and completely against the law to still have freedom of speech thru art. Go enjoy life and do something great..dont put down art..ever. It is freedom of speech. Or what we have left of it..
ReplyDeleteFor fucks sake...are you Dave the Gimp in disguise, or just another muggy prick who's come on here to give us a sermon?? Yeah, it says TOX...so what are you trying to say? That TOX must therefore have made it or something? He's in prison in case you didn't know. Banksy has used Tox's name several times in the past.
ReplyDeleteI can't even be bothered to reply to the rest of your pious moralising uninformed drivel...but Banksy is a anarchist artist?!? Hahaha. Funny joke. He donated a 100 grand piece to the campaign of a Labour party politician. Anarchists don't believe in elections or politicians. Now fuck off and educate yourself before you come on here talking that kind of idiocy.
Looks like that pleb K-Guy to me!
ReplyDeleteWhen did Banksy say that this piece of shit was him then?
ReplyDeleteThe 'occupy' people got a call from his people to ok it. Though if I'd made this wank then I'd probably want to keep it quiet too.
ReplyDeleteFragile:
ReplyDelete'I've been looking at this for the past few hours. Looks fake to me.'
You fucking sad bastard. Sad sad sad sad boy.
Yep, after a decade of obediently sucking on his master's dick he still can't tell the difference. Sums up the intelligence level of the devoted Banksy fanboys really.
ReplyDeletefuck of, it's not me! I already posted and said this piece doesn't make sense. I'm all for freedom of expression, but this mixed up presentation of an idea just shows how confused Banksy is.
