And don't diss Neate, he's hardly to blame for having talent which he can turn into dollars. He painted pretty much every day, trying different styles, different techniques, learning his trade, and giving away everything he made for something like five years, over 1000 paintings and drawings. It's not like he's one of these Banksy-lite characters that have sold more prints to clueless cunts than they've put work in the street. Neate sells as many paintings in a year as he used to leave in the streets in a week!!!

Neate does 50 paintings a day, gives it to the old boy at elms who stores it at his warehouse, (number of paintings in there total around 42,000). Old boy rings clients saying Adam Neate is so scarce you better get one now. Fooled client gets trousered out of his 40K for a painting. Old boy and fat wife go to the maldives for another retirement holiday. Fooled client realises the error of his ways and sells at auction for 9K. Simples!
ReplyDeletefunny, because he said in an interview a few years ago that, since he lives in Brazil where life is cheap, he only needs to make 4 or 5 paintings a year to afford to live like a king, and that means he can spend more time on each piece he paints
