'Taggers attacking outdoor areas near MOCA'

Now children remember if you want to make a statement, you have to buy a canvas and make that statement in the 'proper' way so left leaning upper classes will applaud you, hand you money and feel good about themselves. Fuck yous to the authority and the systems that govern are of course totally wrong and have nothing to do with righteous street art.

  1. Not really surprised to hear that Vandalog's best mate Jeffrey Deitch has hired extra security guards to catch graffiti artists. Just confirms that those kind of parasitical scum (bloggers, curators etc) who have appointed themselves as the street art 'establishment' only really care about the type of art that they can profit from.

Considering the way that Vandalog loves to snoop on people's IP addresses who visit his site, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a police informer as well.

Deitch, Wooster, Vandalog et al have zero credibility on the street and should all be thrown on a big bonfire, along with any artists who associate themselves with them. Let's finally consign these self-serving non-entity cunts to the kind of oblivion they deserve.

  2. Lets face it though, the comment this entire thread is based on came from a cop?!

  3. Not really, it's Deitch himself who says he's instructed his security guards to be on the lookout for graffiti artists. Not just on his museum property, but in the local area as well.

  4. notice how they say an upsurge in "vandalism"

despite a well respected art institute showing graffiti as art, it's still regarded as vandalism when it hasn't been paid for

it's hardly surprising though. If you make an exhibition of graffiti, who will come to see it? People that like graffiti. Who likes graffiti? Graffiti writers. What do graffiti writers do? Write their name on shit

    DUUHHHHH!!!!!!!

as I type this the radio plays a song with the chorus "I just want you to know who I am"
