from here
Child added for the innocence in our society, insect for the big harsh world, photographed spookily in black and white to add some panache and yet it's so done.
My eyes are just drawn to the tags and thinking, 'that environment, that location whats more befitting? Manufacturing fucked, life's ruined, still making our mark people, fucking do what we do, not even noticed'. Fuck yeah.
That's possibly the worst piece by Iemza (not Lemza) I've clapped eyes on.
ReplyDeleteHe does some nice bits now and again but I preferred his very abstact work around 2005/2006/2007 as some of his more figuarative pieces of recent are too hit and miss.
Here's his fotolog. Seems he's been looking at too much Roa (see his favourites list) and thought I'll have abit of that.

Shame as he's better than Roa and has knocked out 100's of derelict pieces in the last few years.
Here's a nice one from 2005:

Oh and remember all that recent clatter about the genius of Vermin?

Saw this on Mormon-log, which was a rare surprise to see anything good on there http://www.daleast.com/outdoor/
ReplyDeleteMakes Roa look extremely amateur.
should have painted a big set of teeth with pink gums - would have looked great with the reflection
