  1. An image befitting an ironic t-shirt for the students and tourists down Brick Lane or Camden market, but that's about it.

  3. It would have been great if he'd sneakily changed one of the signs at Shoreditch station to say this, and it was so well executed that it had gone unnoticed by the railway staff for ages. That I would applaud.

Making a print of it instead is just dull.

  4. I have a lot of time for Chu as he is very innovative artist doing complex 3D murals for well over a decade that are intended to be viewable with 3D specs, technological landscapes, sculptures all sorts.

This was orignally a tiny part of a large mural that was later censored by the venue it was painted on in London.

But as a print it doesn't really work nor does Chu's extensive talent and past work any credit.

  5. I'm told he did his best work as the original Backdoor Brummie.

  6. Your Mum Rang. His best work as far as I'm concerned. They should just sell post-it notes with that on.

took me a while to realise SOD THE RICH is a joke on SHOREDITCH (no tube station when I lived in the area) and I imagine it will no doubt go over the head of anyone who doesn't live in London. a joke isn't very funny when it's only for a miniscule amount of people, and therefore isn't a very marketable print either.

or maybe it sells like hot beigels to the tourists in Brick Lane. Foreigners love it when they get the inside joke, makes 'em feel like a local!

  7. There's been a Shoreditch tube station since 1869, although it's recently moved location a little and is now called Shoreditch High St. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoreditch_tube_station

  11. Anagram of Shoreditch, nothing special, but it made me smile.

Chu's a fucking sound artist as well as a total cunt, which I respect him for. Someone said that he's going to release his Polite Line Tape again, but without that robbing cunt Banksy written on it this time.

  12. "aswell as a total cunt, which I respect him for"

Why would anyone respect someone for being a cunt?? oh yeah this is street art aggrandisement machismo talk I forgot....I wish I was a cunt...
This whole scene is defunct, and thats a shame cos Chu is a sound artist among charlatans, but now I know he's cunt I dont care.
