Aww I wish POW would just fuck off and stick to cack handed stencil shunters. I've liked Aryz's pieces for years but now, like Dran he's now tainted with the shit brush.
his pieces are great (though I wish he wouldn't put his stupid logo on them, kind of ruins things) He's the Blu of colour and rotting flesh
this print is so-so. it's not bad, just doesn't say much. happy zombie. goths in love might like it. looks like a greeting card design. maybe that's POW's next big venture - the street art Hallmark...
I agree with the logo remark, it's totally unnecessary as it's obvious who's painted it. If you didn't know it's a nice little mystery for you to solve or not, as that's the nice thing about not branding artwork as you have a choice whether to follow it up or not as to who created it.
As for the print, it's ok draughtmanship wise but content it's just deathly boring and contains most of the current street art cliches: Skull/skeleton, birds and flowers.
All it needs are a few butterflies and the skeleton to be wearing superman cape and a mickey mouse hat and a Warhol reference and it'd be a straight flush.
Is this forum just full of wannabees of over 30's and their time has gone? well done Aryz.. Keep up the good work at a young age.. Good luck to a great future.. Stay clean
and most artists worth their salt aren't making anything really worthwhile til they're in their 50's
why are we so obsessed with young artists when it's plain to see by prints like this that they haven't lived enough life to have anything worth talking about?
the young are too busy running around trying to be liked so they can get laid. once you've sown your seed and done the one thing in life you were put here to do (reproduce, pass on genes, keep the species running) then you can be focused on something as pointless as art, without thinking about sex every 10 seconds (in my experience it's every 10 minutes after you've spawned. makes the thinking a little more fluid. a little)
