Faile - Temple Project - Portugal Art 2010 16/7 - 15/8

So unless you were blinded by the spectacle of the World Cup you will in the last few days have seen pic's of the ambitious Temple Project by Faile, in Lisbon for PortugalArte10. There's been a huge amount of praise for this work and yes the idea is great and the tiling a perfect fit for the 'look' that's being shot at.

I do have my reservations though the actual Faile pieces in the ruins look well 'plasticy' maybe this is the pic's but they look moulded and stuck on, most odd. I'm sure this isn't the look they were going for unless they were really shooting at a 70's terraced house dodgy ornate frontage (work that out if you can!).
