I do remember in 'Exit Through the Gift Shop' he eulogised on how his art would be changing becoming more challenging, 'you've not see the real Mr Brainwash yet' la-de-dah - between recent print releases and the ICONS show in New York it's pretty apparent there's really not much else to the man, there won't be some huge jump in meaning, technical skills or innovation it's all about the joke (with no punchline) and the repetition of icons over and over again.
The most interesting thing is not the 'now' but 5/10/20 years down the line how this plays out, will the single bloody mindedness - some would say stupidity - amount to a career of note? We will see, the Ebay sales are already falling, the pieces becoming worth - less, when the fan boys dissipate will anything be left?
